Set to release from 9th November, the LOVOT x Fragment collection will be made available via the LOVOT pop-up store at Isetan Shinjuku Men’s building until 15th November and also Mitsukoshi Isetan’s online store until 29th November. What’s more to take note is that certain items are only for the LOVOT robot so it is advised to check out the items here at Mitsukoshi Isetan’s online store for a better idea of the full lineup. Joining the duo would be a collaborative lineup of brands featuring RAMIDUS, NEIGHBORHOOD, sacai, GOD SELECTION XXX and SEQUEL. Introducing an extensive collection for not only humans but also for the LOVOT robots, the lineup includes apparel wear and accessories in the form of t-shirts, hoodies, bags and many more. To commemorate the release, a limited-time pop-up store will be opened at Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building with an exclusive capsule collection to be sold alongside the robot. This time, taking a step further with the technology, developer company GROOVE X has announced an upcoming collaboration between LOVOT and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s FRAGMENT DESIGN. While being labeled as a family robot and not serving any practical purposes, it is created with the aim to give a sense of reassurance and nurture attachment to the ones around them. Widely known not only for their unique culture, Japan is also especially known for the advanced technologies they have incorporated throughout the years so it was not a surprise to many when they announced the release of the LOVOT robots to the public.
